Col de Bussang
The source of the Moselle: the Moselle takes its source at the foot of the Drumont mountain, at 735m, on the western slopes of the crystalline Vosges, and flows into the Rhine at Koblenz, with only 278km between Bussang and Koblenz linear distance, but it is 544 km long. The source is marked by a granite monument which was installed on 23 May 1965. It is located above the Col de Bussang. The Moselle winds from its source in France past Épinal, Pont-Saint-Vincent, Toul, Frouard, Metz and Thionville, before it joins the three-country corner in Schengen (France, Luxembourg and Germany).
