Eitelsbach is a small wine growing village in the Ruwer Valley.

Mrs. Annegret Reh-Gartner, director of the estate Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt commented on the Ruwer Riesling as follows: "Ruwer wines are the most mineralized in the Mosel region, due to the hard, dark slate soil and the coolest microclimate." Research has shown that was cultivated 600 years before Christ in Ruwertal wine.
