Enkirch Germany

When I first arrived in Enkirch at sunset, I was immediately delighted by the Rhenish half-timbered houses. With a beautiful view of the Moselle and good wine that reminds us of Alsace.
Enkirch was fortified in the 13th century by a city wall with 7 gates. Since there was no castle, a fortified church was built, which was mentioned in 908 already. It is today the Protestant church in the village.
