Strasbourg

The district of Strasbourg is amazing. I hope that my pictures will instigate you to visit Strasbourg. For sure you will enjoy something unique!

The idea was certainly very good. In order not to break the design, a missing window was simply painted. What do you think about that idea?

The people appear very small in relation to the Cathedral.

I think that for some people they do exist!
These moods and geometries seem to me, as if this would be an entry point for unknown objects.

The eyes firmly pressed on the lady´s face left in the picture. I thought first, it was probably the reaction to my camera. The main focus was actually the beggar in front of the Cathedral, which I was watching. But something tells me, that not only that lady keeps her eyes firmly pressed ...

Suddenly the beggar passed out. At first I was scared. I had never seen something like that before. My first thought was to run for helping her. But then I saw how firm her hand was holding her mug. I suppose she was paid for that action. But what about people who really need our help! How can we make a difference? Should we care? No one cared about that woman, untill came ...

Here is the end of our short story. I`m quite sure that this scene was not shown for the last time.

Why?

He begged everyone who came close to him. A shot while ago I saw him going into a store and buying costume jewelery. I remembered that, because he made fun of my little dog Bobby. Later when he asked me for some euros I replied in German that I could not understand him. At that day I saw him a third time, as he set up his night quat with friends under the bridge. Hard times?

This man is different from the ordinary beggars. He lies protected between the wall and the temples. I am not sure whether it is ok for an european city to have such scenes on its streets.
