Morscheid
in the Ruwer Valley
This beautiful village has a lot to offer. The Marienlay Castle is managed by the winery "Reichsgraf von Kesselstadt" and is world famous. Opposite the castle is a vegetated steep slope. South of Morscheid lies the quartzite rock Langenstein. This natural monument is situated on the premium hiking trail "Morscheider Grenzpfad". The trail leads partly past the Osburger Hochwald and offers gorgeous views over the Ruwer Valley and the Riveris dam.
