is the ruin of a medieval castle in the southern Palatinate Forest, the German part of the Wasgau area. The castle is located at an altitude of 570.9 m, making it the highest in the Palatinate. In the neighborhood are also the castle ruins Hohenburg, Löwenstein and Fleckenstein.
